Green Fashion Monday: Recycled-Newspaper Shoes
These fashion-forward ballet flats, designed by Colin Lin, are made of about three pages of colorful Chinese-language newsprint.
Though not 100% sustainable (the shoes are coated in plastic, and the outsole is leather), they’re crafted by Taiwanese artisans working out of their homes – thereby not contributing to the region’s polluting factory culture.

::AWESOME idea !! I would love to see more things made from recycled magazines, newspapers, and junk mail. ...actually have my eye out for a wood type product made totally from recycled paper. If you know of something let me know !!
